An initial session or two when I have the chance to carefully consider what brought you to treatment and gather historical information to better assess your needs.  We discuss a possible treatment plan, and together, decide if we are a good fit. These session vary between 45-1 hour.  

I work with families to help determine whether their child needs a neuropsychological report, identify resources to help the child (reading tutors, OT, PT and therapy), and discuss  school placement options.  I have a particular expertise in  helping families navigate the path to help their struggling reader.

Areas of specialty:   anxiety, depression, trauma (physical, sexual or relational), relationship issues, grief and loss, overeating and other addictive behaviors, anger management, women's health (perinatal),and general social skills.

This is a 6 week psychotherapy group starting May 1st for Adolescent Girls who need a place to find some support and some emotion regulation skills.  Please email me to schedule a consultation for the group.  ages 14-17

Work with couples integrating Emotion-focused therapy with other treatments when necessary. Family therapy includes working with parents to better understand and reach their children's psychosocial needs.

This is an ongoing psychotherapy group for men and women to address and manage binge eating behavior.  Skills based group focuses on emotion regulation and mindfulness strategies.
